The capital of Georgia is Atlanta although the post-war Constitutional Convention of 1867-68 Milledgeville was the capital of Georgia. Georgia is sitting at a total size of 59,425 sq. mi. ranked 24th out of the 50 states for state size. Georgia 4 states Florida, Alabama, Tennesse, and South Carolina the state also borders the Atlantic Ocean
